Responsibilities

Front Office

  • Extend warm welcomes to members and guests, providing personalized assistance that exceeds expectations.
  • Address member and guest concerns promptly and effectively, taking ownership of challenges, and seeking proactive solutions. Escalate unresolved issues to management as needed to ensure resolution.
  • Professionally answer phone calls and redirect them as necessary.
  • Promote club events, promotions, and amenities to enhance member and guest experiences, fostering a positive atmosphere.
  • Monitor premises for safety hazards, enforce protocols, provide guidance during emergencies, collaborate on safety issues, and participate in training to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Golf Operations

  • Manage all aspects of golf bookings, including cancellations and no-shows, while assisting with events and tournaments.
  • Register and collect fees from members and their guests, answer inquiries, and set up registration for club and private golf events.
  • Maintain the club’s golf booking system and prepare tee time sheets for staff.
  • Handle member and guest feedback, communicate with the golf team, and assist with daily billing and day-end closing procedures.
  • Support in preparing golf rounds and statistical reports, and coordinate with various departments as required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of ‘O’ levels or equivalent

Experience

  • Previous hospitality industry experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Previous experience in hospitality, concierge services, or customer service preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of golf and familiarity with golf club operations is an asset.
